 We are proud and excited to announce our Launch Party at the Regus Offices in Slough on the 15th December at 5.30-8pm (Directions here)

WeCanDoLive is a completely new concept in Face to Face business networking.  We give you the opportunity to network not only with people you are meeting with but with the whole global business community to bring you sales leads and referrals.  We do this using the power of the WeCanDo.Biz platform and the reach of social tools on the web.  We know you will be as excited as we are and we would love to show you what it is all about.

We have some exciting speakers planned and there will be an opportunity to learn about and participate in some of the WeCanDoLive experience.  There will be nibbles and drinks and we will not be charging for attendance.

Our CRM partners InTouch CRM have sent us the following note…..

With more and more people joining the, the time has come for us to move to a bigger house….well, get bigger servers! We have been talking to our hosting partners at Rackspace and we are planning an upgrade to our servers to ensure that no matter how many people join us, we all still get a fast reliable application.

So moving day for us is Friday 11th November 2011 at 18:30 – this means the application will be down for a few hours while we move the database to its new home, with everything back on no later than 22:30.

Latest Corporate blog update…the content returns #wecandobiz #socmed #scrm

I have managed to track down 150 or so historical items for the WeCanDo.biz blog. This represents pretty much the entire back catalogue so I am happy.  Everything is there, the text, the links and the images.  The part that is missing is the comments from our readers and members.  Some articles had over 500 comments so that represents a huge loss for us.

But, we can build from here.

OfficialWire: Business Leaders: Business Networkers Mourn Ian Hendry, The Man Who Started And Created We Can Do Biz

I met Ian Hendry a month or two ago at a business networking meeting arranged by Business Scene in Datchet, an area on the way to Windsor.

At this event their were a number of different networks presenting their various portfolio, and among them was We Can Do biz with Ian it’s founder and creator standing in.

I remember standing in a group of three, next to Ian who was a genial guy, and subsequently collaboration started.

I later had a look at his networking site and joined, to becoming a full member in the last week.

I heard from Chris Butler his business partner that Ian had contracted meningitis in the UK, and then by email that he had died after a short illness at John Radcliffe Hospital Intensive Care Unit in Oxford.

I was to put it bluntly – gob smacked! I just could not believe it – he was in his late 30s early 40s and hardly the man to die.

Ian had something, an idea that he had spent considerable time on, and he was after all an internet guru.

Looking at his profile, a hologram appears – here is a man, immortalised in the net, an entrepreneur who will never die, a visionary who started something that business owners use to communicate.

Our deepest sympathies are with his family and friends.

I will miss you Ian definitely – goodbye my friend…
